PLATFORM CAPABILITY · WHERE IT RUNS
Flexible Deployment
Deploy where your regulation allows. On-premise, in your cloud account or as SaaS. The same platform. The same governed capability. Your choice.
The vendor recommends SaaS. The regulator requires data to stay in jurisdiction. Most platforms cannot satisfy both.
Cloud-first, US-built platforms create a structural conflict with European sovereignty obligations. For defence and critical infrastructure, the constraint goes further: full air-gap, no external network access at all.

WHAT IT DELIVERS
Deploy where your regulation requires. Not where the vendor decides.
Stratio deploys on-premise, in the customer’s own cloud account or as Stratio-managed SaaS. The customer’s regulatory environment determines deployment mode, not the vendor’s preference. The platform capability is identical across all three modes.
In on-premise and customer-cloud deployments, data and agents remain within the customer’s infrastructure throughout. There is no routing through Stratio’s systems. Data residency obligations are met by design.
Stratio is designed and built in Europe, under EU law. There is no CLOUD Act exposure, no FISA risk and no dependency on US-hosted infrastructure. Regulated European institutions and public bodies deploy with no foreign jurisdiction obligation.
The platform capability is identical across deployment modes. Customers can begin with SaaS for faster initial deployment and move to on-premise as their regulatory requirements evolve, without changing the product or re-integrating.
01
Stratio manages the infrastructure. Fastest time to value. Suitable for teams beginning their data transformation or for non-critical-residency workloads. The customer accesses the full platform capability without managing infrastructure.
02
Stratio deploys into the customer’s own AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenStack account. Data and agents remain within the customer’s cloud security perimeter. The customer controls the account; Stratio manages the platform layer.
03
Full deployment within the customer’s data centre, including air-gapped environments. Data, agents and models remain entirely within the customer’s infrastructure. Supports local LLM execution via vLLM, or Ollama for lighter, non-production workloads.
Watch how the same governed platform capability runs on-premise, in the customer’s cloud account and as SaaS, with no changes to the product or the governance model.
