Data Marketplace
A governed catalogue where business teams, analysts and BI discover, request and consume trusted data, without opening a ticket.
Business teams need data. Getting it means a ticket, a wait, and a workaround.
In most regulated organisations, data access runs through engineering. Requests queue for days. Business teams find alternatives: informal extracts, shared spreadsheets, undocumented exports. The data that reaches them is unverified, ungoverned and disconnected from any source of truth.
Self-service
access to governed data products, no engineering bottleneck
Data products

One surface
for discovery, request and consumption across the entire data estate
WHAT IT DELIVERS
Trusted data, available to every team. No tickets required.
The Data Marketplace distributes what the Semantic Layer defines and Governed Data Products package: the same governed asset, made discoverable and requestable by business teams.
Business teams discover and consume data products through a searchable catalogue. Access requests are submitted and approved through a governed workflow, no engineering bottleneck, no informal data sharing between teams.
Data products listed in the Marketplace have passed quality validation and carry full lineage. Consumers know what they are getting before they access it. There are no unverified exports or undocumented extracts.
The Marketplace surfaces which data products are being requested, used and rated. Data teams understand demand across the business and prioritise production accordingly.
The Marketplace and Agentic AI consume the same governed data products from the same definitions. Human analysts and AI agents work from a common trusted foundation, the same asset, two consumption surfaces.
01
Business users search the Marketplace catalogue by business term, domain, tag or data owner. Each listing shows the data product’s description, quality score, lineage summary and access policy, in business language, not technical schema.
02
Users submit access requests through the Marketplace. Requests are routed to the appropriate data owner or steward for approval. Access is granted within the governance framework, with a full audit trail of who requested what and when.
03
Approved users access data products directly from their preferred tool: BI, SQL client, API or notebook. Usage is logged. Quality monitoring continues after access is granted. Access can be revoked centrally at any time.
