Román Martín

Román, Stratio’s CTO has more than 20 years of experience in the creation of products based on artificial intelligence and cognitive data management. Román has developed information systems based on cognitive and AI technology that provide significant value to large enterprises.

Two decades ago, he founded an AI company that focused on the workings of the neocortex, anticipating many of the foundations of Deep Learning and Generative AI.

For nine years, Román was responsible for the Architecture and Innovation department at Indra, where he created a cognitive tool for the automatic generation of information architectures using artificial intelligence, in addition to designing and implementing large information systems in large companies in different sectors.

In the last ten years, as CTO of Stratio, he has been one of the driving forces behind the creation of one of the first Data Fabrics in the market. For the last five years, he has been leading the creation of the Business Semantic Layer, a cognitive and semantic layer for enterprise data.

Over the last year and a half, Román has spearheaded the integration of Stratio’s Business Semantic Layer with Generative AI, enabling direct, accurate and high-quality exploitation of enterprise data for business users.
